Here's a great article overview of canine sports!
It's so nice to see freestyle becoming more popular and getting included in articles like this!
My car wash routine with Terra is featured! WOW!!
January is National Train Your Dog Month, so here are some more free tips from your trusted source, SassyT Canine Academy!
“Lab-a-Gator" "Doodle-gator”
Are these new and upcoming dog breeds? Has the public truly lost their mind by demanding some crossbreed between an domestic dog and an alligator? Rest assured, there is no new companion animal showing up in the pet stores that has scales combined with cute floppy puppy ears, curly tails, and requires a kiddie pool instead of a dog crate.
Terra and I just earned the second leg of her In-Sync Novice title with one of our favorite routines, the Seneca Square Dance. This weekend we are off to Maine to see Michelle Pouliot and all our freestyle friends at Dancing Paws of Maine. Then we will be off to Syracuse November 5th and 6th, for the Muttly Masquerade freestyle competition. I will be competing in not one, not two, not three freestyle routines, but FOUR freestyle routines!
Nosework competing in 2015 and 2016 has been a little rough for Terra and I, as we have been waitlisted on over 10 attempts to enter any NW2 trial just about anywhere within a day's drive of NY. There is a serious bottleneck of competitors and it will take us a lot longer than I thought to earn our NW2. We, however, had a great weekend in Pennsylvania a couple weeks ago, at our first Element Specialty trial!

I LOVE the variety of options and the amazing creativity; there are so many!
